  We could not find the check out instructions in our paperwork and were unable to reach the manager, so were unclear on the procedure. I'm sorry that one of our condo's (I believe #158) was dirty. We did however have a wonderful time and look forward to coming again.

  The power had been out before our arrival, so light bulbs were burned out. The disposal smelled bad. Needed better lighting all around. Loved it other than that.

  This is a great place to stay on the North Shore of Oahu. We used the tennis courts everyday. The beaches near by are excellent.

  A great condo with all the amenities. The space and layout were great and worked well for a family of four. The owners had the condo so prepared for guests and even had little directions posted throughout to help with the TV and navigating the kitchen. 10 out of 10! Turtle Bay condos is a well kept secret. Not sure I want to let it out :)

  the only I did not like was that there is not enough restaurants and the few restaraunts that they do have, the food was ok. We drove to the Mainland to find a nice restaurant and still we could not really find one. Everything is so spead out. Also, the local stores do not have much selection of souvenirs. Another thing that I noticed was the parking issue. We loved going to North Shore Beach, but the parking was an issue. Other than that, the stay was beautiful and breath taking!!!!

  Check in/out was very easy even when arriving after business hours. The place was very clean and comfortable. View of the golf course was very relaxing. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone .

• The floors of the property were not clean when we got there so we had to clean them. They could also use some fans for circulation as the AC units were only in two bedrooms. Everything else was great except they charged us a fee for carpet spots

    This condo has lovely travertine tile floors and the darker markings in the tile are often mistaked for dirt.

  Of all the years we have rented units at Turtle Bay Estates, this unit was the best. The art works, furniture, newly added entertainment center was great. Lots of bath towels, beach towels, garbage bags, boogie boards, etc. On the down side, we found a huge roach in the kitchen and as usual, but as expected lots of tiny ants. The wall unit (bamboo or rattan) in the lanai gave out a very funky smell that found its was to the living area. Would advise to have it removed.
  The unit would have been even more inviting if the living room was air conditioned. We would definitely want to rent this unit again.

  The condo is next to the Turtle Bay Resort but to use the beach or go for dinner at the hotel there is a $5.00 charge every time to enter the gates of the Resort. We could not use the hotel pool or beach chairs at the beach as these were reserved for hotel guests only. We would have been happy to pay a fee for a weekly pass to use the hotel amenities-the hotel staff are not friendly or helpful towards the renters in the condos. The hotel is having financial difficulties and one option might be to institute a weekly service fee for the use of the beach/ beach chairs and other amenities that the guests in the hotel use. The condo needed new sheets-stained and torn, the towels were grungy and there were ants but they exist in a tropical climate. The bedside lamps were broken, some of the baseboards were in need of being re=attached to the walls, the carpets were stained. The price is fair for the condition of the condo. The location is great on the NOrth Shore and the shrimp wagon down the road is the best buy for dinner. There is no night life on that end of the island. The drive to Haleiewa is about 20 minutes to restaurants, etc. We really did feel unwelcomed at the Turtle Bay Hotel, even after making a dinner reservation we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. The condo had internet service which was good. The T.V. could be updated and the bedside radios. The management was basically invisible. The NOrth Shore is peaceful and great for a family vacation with young children. Our teenage children would have prefered more night life options. THe beaches are fabulous and the sea turtles swim right along side of you. We loved Hawaii and the North Shore but won't stay at Turtle Bay again.

    We also wish we could have exchange amenities with the hotel, but we are not affiliated in any way. None of the issues in the condo were brought to our attention. This condo is a beautiful, upgraded condo, and the guests remarks were unfounded, in our opinion.
