Excellent location. Quiet. clean!
Beautiful resort atmosphere on the north shore. We'll come back!
This is the second condo I have stayed at up at Turtle Bay. I thought it was a great value for the price. The pictures online do not show the great lanai space which overlooks the golf course and has some very comfortable furniture. We did quite a bit of cooking and the only negative I can think of is that we could not get a couple of the stove top burners to work, and the ones that did work always seemed to be on extremely high heat regardless of the setting. A minor inconvenience, however.
Loved the place, would stay there again. Only thing was the toilet tissue holder kept on falling off and the shower inner liner needs to be changed or cleaned. Overall, everything was great!
Turtle Bay 101 West was clean and quit and central to the beachs, forests and plantation we wanted visit on the north end and central part of Oahu. Access to the beach is a short walk from the Estates. It is a short drive to the market to stock your kitchen and plenty of places to eat out nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay and it exceeded our expectations from the information we got online - the place is bigger than it looks in the pictures, there is a nice balcony that overlooks the golf course, and there is wifi, a well-equipped kitchen and an allocated parking spot. It's really close to beaches and a very short drive to the supermarket and places to eat. Perfect place to stay for a relaxing beach get-away vacation!
Close to quaint beaches and the North Shore atmosphere with luxury of staying in a home setting. Had a wonderful time! Nice to have the Turtle Bay Resort amenities so close at hand.
over all we thought the place was great. there were ants but in Hawaii this is common... they aren't really a problem unless you leave food out. it was a long walk to the beach. other than these caveats I would highly recommend it, especially for the price.
Had trouble finding the estates because of name differences. Arrived after hours and the emergency phone contact was unable to give us clear directions to where we were to go. Map would have helped. Loved the place once we found it!
As to the North Shore location, very, very satisfied. As to location within The Estates, I will investigate whether Turtle Bay East is closer to the water. That was not apparent in the on-line setup and would have been important if it were
The amenities were just right , the cleaning could be a bit better...mold around fixtures in bathroom and dust and bugs under the beds. But in general it was a wonderful little place.
A decent and well equipped apartment - possibly the best equipped kitchen we've ever had in a holiday rental property. The only problem we had was that we arrived at night after a long journey and there was noone on duty at the carpark booth so we couldn't get in. We ended up driving to the hotel to get someone to ring and give us a code to get in. Would be a good idea to give better instructions if arriving after hours.
Complete check-in instructions are sent to every guest in their confirmation letter. After-hours check ins should not be a problem if the instructions are read and followed.
We rented three units for 6 families. It worked out perfectly for our annual Memorial Day get-away!
This is one of our favorite units..If the cleaning crew paid more attention to the details it would be absolutely perfect.
nice 1-bedroom w/loft but infested with ants. stairs to get to the loft were steep and scary. not appropriate place for small children.
Much of the towels, bedding & furniture was old. In my opinion, time 2 be changed out. The swimming pools were 2 cold to use after the sun went down. The Location was the only nice thing. Even at a discounted price it was 2 expensive! Wont recommend Wont stay again.
101 W is a one-star condo, out of three. It is a good value!
Location great, grounds beautiful. Tub fixtures need replacement. Pans limited and in awful condition. All stove burners or knobs did not work. Generally appliances needed replacing. Ants everywhere on arrival and during stay.
Overall,our stay was really nice,except when I tried to cook breakfast for my family the stove burners was not working properly. The heat control was unpredictable. It was burning my food and when I lower the heat, the heat was too low and it was not cooking my food the way I wanted.
We found the condo to be very clean, convenient and affordable. We would like to have seen some more attention payed to the amenities (stove didn't totally work, toilet was unstable). We would also like to see some non perishable basics included for general usage (sugar, oil etc.). Perhaps there is a reason for the omission, but that would be a nice bonus. Beyond that we were VERY pleased with the wireless internet access. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes, and for the rate we paid we can't complain as the beach was excellent.
Liked the location but lanai was dirty and there was ants in the kitchen. Other than that it was fair.
