Oahu Activities

Oahu's North Shore has plenty of activities for all ages. Below are some of the most popular.

Golf

Turtle Bay Resort has two golf courses, The Palmer Course and the Fazio Course. They're a little pricey, but amazingly uncrowded, especially on weekdays. Call 808-293-8574 for a tee time.

If you feel like walking and have only $10 in your pocket, try the Kahuku Municipal Golf Course. It's 9 holes, right on the ocean, and the amount of green in the grass will depend on the rainfall. Call 808-293-5842.

Horseback Riding

Do you envision yourself riding along the beach, with salt and sand flying everywhere? This can be a dream come true, whether you book with the Turtle Bay Resort at 808-293-8811 ext. 36, or with Linda at Kahuku Kai at 808-293-8081.

Kualoa Ranch is further away, but the mountain scenery on these trails is worth it. Reach them at 808-237-8515.

Surfing & Beaches

The North Shore is one of the world's most renowned surf zones, handling a huge variety of conditions and sizes and far from fully tapped as a wave-riding resource.

Tennis

Play for free when you're our guest at The Estates at Turtle Bay. We have two courts on each side of our property. Bring your own equipment.

More to Do

  • The Polynesian Cultural Center is about a 15-minute drive from the condos.

  • Kahuku Farms is right across from the shrimp trucks and offers farm tours plus a lunch menu featuring produce grown on-site.

  • There's a zip line about a block from our office. Visit keanafarms.com for details.

  • Waimea Falls Park, inland from the famous beach, has a gift shop, restaurants, and tours of the valley and trails to the waterfall made famous in the old surf movies.
